Fishing Villiage - Procida
Procida (pronounced Pro-chee-dah) is the smallest inhabited island in the Bay of Naples, on the southeastern coast of Italy. It’s one of three islands in the Bay of Naples. Most people head to the infamous islands of Capri or Ischia but we aren't "most people". If the crowds head in one direction, my husband and I smile and head in the other direction. Procida is a working island. The industry of this area is fishing. During our visit in 2018, we spent hours watching the fisherman fix their nets, prepare their boats, and return with their catches. It is a glorious place. I hope to visit again someday soon.
