Floral Harvest
I cherish the memory of preparing floral bouquets with my mama in advance of the Saturday Farmers Market in Viroqua, Wisconsin. After a long day of harvesting produce, my mama and I would be out in the late summer evenings as the sun went down harvesting flowers. We would bring the flowers into the wash and pack and spend hours creating and designing farm-fresh floral bouquets. I miss her. As I painted this painting, I was able to spend more time with my cherished memories of my beautiful mama.
