A Naples Welcome
We we fortunate enough to make a trip to Europe in 2019. One of the highlights for us, was Naples, Italy. This beautiful still-life was inspired by a photo that I snapped when opened the door to our Airbnb in Naples, Italy. We had to climb over 126 steps to reach our room. However, this beautiful bowl of welcoming citrus and apples set on a table of handpainted ceramic tile with an amazing stonewall as a backdrop grabbed my eye and my attention immediately. It was so visually stimulating, that it begged to be painted upon my return home.
