The summer of 2022, I took on the challenge of painting using the technique of chiaroscuro. Chiaroscuro uses strong contrasts between these lights and darks, usually bold contrasts affecting a whole composition. The main principle behind chiaroscuro is that you have a solidity in the form, for a better three-dimensional representation. I will always be a student of the arts and continue to learn new techniques and push more comfort zones.
