Poppy Party
Wouldn't you want to party with poppies!?! As you move about my website, you can tell that poppies are one of my favorite flowers. I put a lot of effort into the "bokeh effect" of this painting. Bokeh is the blurred quality or effect seen in the out-of-focus portion of a photograph taken with a narrow depth of field. I'm fascinated by the light play of photography and those beautiful blurry "circles of light" that appear, transforming light into a dancing orb. Dancing and orbs?! Let's get this party started!
